Re: The Fremen Fedaykin & Friends

As I became less of a control freak in AC, and wanting to shed some of the responsibility for leading pvp parties, I created the position of Fedaykin. A member would take on the role of leading some pvp raids for the week and that allowed them to put a lot of effort into that week, knowing that they wouldn't have the same amount of commitment the next week, as it was someone elses turn. I believe Solarch was our first one.

In WoW, it became a Battle Ground side guild that due to it mostly being alts, couldn't function with our rule of all your character must be in TFK, so to facilitate this group of pvpers we started a variation of the Fedaykin.

Ok,

In regards to WoW, there used to be a weekly raid that would be about destroying a horde location. Back then a DK stood for a dishonorable Kill which messed with peoples PvP score, and this was a major problem for half of the guild. Originally there was a Fedaykin leader, that would organize this type of raid.

It later adapted to a group of hard core battle ground pvpers who like to pvp on what we would later set up as PwnNight. We would regularly have a group of 5-10 people to que against the Horde. Back then it was limited to Archimonde.

A later patch allowed for unified battlegrounds and the recruiting got a bit heavier. With the assistance of Will of Stone, we were able to get approval from the core guild to break off the "tweaks" (not twink due to the reference) and open up the splinter guild to other players that did not meet the guild critera for joining TFK. This went on for a long time, from Vanilla WoW up until the mounted 29 battle grounds. That pretty much killed the Fremen Fedaykin for the majority of players.

Many of us still communicate and chat outside of the means of the internet, but we will never forget the great times we spent in WSG (warsong gultch).

And dang that Darb stealing my kills!

How are you all doing these days? Still hanging in there? I haven't spoken to anyone from this group in quite a while, though I occasionally hear from Balton via Facebook.

Hey guys, cool that you stopped in :)

TFK has a strong presence in DF2, EU server, and we could use a couple more people with proper accents

I am finding the gaming performance not too bad from this side of the pond and with the change in who you gain experience points, or prowess points, the game has a real Asheron's Call feel. Give it a try.

I would not call myself an avid facebook person by any means.

I do chat with Mara on there, and I still keep up with Joe D. (i forget his rogues name), Trogdoor and Sundree.

Outside of that, not much else is going on. The gaming has been limited to Mass Effect 3 Multiplay with family members. Love to shoot me some aliens in the head.

There has been no game that has even come close to fulfilling my needs to pvp like the release of AoC.

The ever nerfing WoW has no place for me there.

Never could get into the darfall thing, after AoC, i got really disenfranchised with promised pvp games.

Good to hear from you though Boss, been a while.

Who knows, maybe for Christmas I may give it as hot. Work has been ridiculous lately.
