Brokeback Mountain Bed and Breakfast

Postby Angryghandi » Wed Apr 26, 2006 2:45 pm

New in Brooks Alberta,

Brooks' newest B&B-.................wouldn't you be PO'D to come home to
this???

The guy that lives here is in Fort MacMurray working.

His 'buddies' made this sign in his front yard.

The posts are cemented in the ground and it cost over $500.00 to make.

It is illuminated and the one hand goes back and forth and smacks...The riders hand actually smacks up and down.

They actually put this sign up on the guys front lawn while he was away
and it stayed up while he was away , for a month.

Holy crap Arlon, you actually know stuff about Brooks!!

I live in B.C. now, but I grew up in Medicine Hat, 1 hour from Brooks. Yes, Brooks is a strange town on one of the flattest spots on earth.

Woot!

BC Bud ftw.

That's what I hear anyways... I personally don't partake of the herb... however I have seen granola once or twice and maybe even this thing you call soap. (it was in a perty window deesplay at de General Store)

Now hushup while I braid my hair and craft some more hemp bracelets.

Yes I spent a couple years workin the oilfield in Alberta mostly up north but 1 summer in Brooks, Enchant and Vulcan.

I must say that I never did see that side of brooks but it always seemed to be a quier little town.

Never did make MH though.

I am sitting with the dude right now that this prank was pulled on. This was done in 2006 and he was actually working in Provost at the time and a supervisor for a pipeline/facility company. When he got home this is what he came home to. The rest is fairly correct but the cost was actually closer to $4000 to pull this off. The bar was set pretty high! I have know him for 16 years so if anyone has any pictures of this please post as if you can believe this conversation comes up fairly often and I lost mine.
